About Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church

Sunday Divine Service at 11:00 am in the sanctuary.

Since 1935, our congregation has been sharing the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit with the people of El Centro and the Imperial Valley.  As a member congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we believe and confess that Holy Scripture is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God, and the sole rule and norm for Christian doctrine.  We subscribe to the Lutheran Confessions because, drawn from the God's Word, they are a true and binding exposition of Holy Scripture.

SPECIAL NOTICE

Hi Grace Family,

We are currently without a pastor. It is a difficult time for us, but we would encourage you to be faithful in your worship, whether in person at a sister congregation or online. We are continuing to meet in the Parish Hall for Bible Study hour at 9am. We've watched a number of different recorded series that have been very enjoyable and informative.  We will continue to do so. At 11:00 we will watch a live or recorded service so that we can worship together. We may change the schedule in the near future.

Here are some websites of Missouri Synod Lutheran churches we have found during Covid. These services can be watched at anytime as they are recorded. To watch them live we are posting the times to go online.  These can all be watched on YouTube where no subscription or login is required.  If you have never watched on youtube before, we will list some steps at the end of this email.

Helpful steps:

A couple of these links are to the web page of the church with links to watch live or archived.

When you are on a youtube link, look at the bar across the top.  Click on "video."   The next link has a bar with choices of video or live. Choose according to the time you are watching.   To enlarge the video, tap the screen then tap the square icon in the bottom right corner.

God bless you all as we continue to pray and seek God's will for Grace.

Yours in Christ,                  Grace Lutheran of El Centro
